ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Gonzalo, from La Plata. I'm 30 years old, and just starting to realize how great this world is. I'm a music student, that loves his family and friends and try to do his best to make a better person of myself.
About my music, I do a lot! street music with my electric violin, my balkan music band -Am Tisch-, and irish folk.

PHILOSOPHY

As I wrote above, I'm buddhist, and try to live my live from two concepts, wich I believe, cover all the aspects of life: Compassion and Meditation. From this, i try to understand, day to day, the importance of love, working, passion for what you do, etc.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to travel. I've known lots of my country by now. And it's a big one :P Buenos Aires province alone, is the size of Germany or Spain, just to make an example. It has always been a dream to travel and meet other cultures face to face. I also enjoy meeting people who comes to my city, and make them feel comfortable, and to show them how me and my friends live.

I'm intrested in Arts, Human Sciences, etc. But above all, experiences. I think that's something that no one but you can teach yourself, and curiosly, it's the most important thing to do, being alive, I think.

Movies: Kusturica, Guy Ritchie, Kurosawa, Fellini ...
Music: Balkan, Klezmer, Classical, Tango, Bossa, Rock (70's and 80's) Celtic, Ethnic, World Music, etc.
Books: I particulary enjoy suspense and psychological thrillers. Black novel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have a bunch of funny stories. From actually giving my blood away to sell a pair of tickets for a show of mine to stop an old lady to drown her dog by accident.
