A Big time dreamer, i am an Indian who is now living her dream in France. An English teacher by profession, someone who started with sciences but ended up (THANKFULLY) with languages. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, i believe in travelling and not just being a mere tourist. And the best way to travel is to meet new people, people from different places and share wonderful stories and experiences.

Interests

FOOOD...my love for food has brought me changed me from an absolute no entry to the kitchen to a person who enjoys experimenting. And, although i am a HUGE fan of 'joey' but i still don't mind sharing food! ;)
BOOKS...i love books, although the smell of new books makes me go crazzy, i still feel that old books have their own charm(i love the little write ups)
PHOTOGRAPHY...No, I am not just any other monkey with an slr, no justifications required, me and my camera know the story :P

MUSIC...I listen to all sorts of music but stick to the ones i like in the first go :P
MOVIES...I am a complete BOLLYWOOD fan. But Hollywood is something one can't miss, i have quite a few favorites pursuit of happiness is one them :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I made one decision, decision of coming to France from India
Having stayed in India for almost all my life, i never really got a chance to explore the world. This is the first time I've come to a foreign land, and trust me, it does not feel foreign at all. I am living and loving every minute of it.

Teach, Learn, Share

TEACH..I come from India, a land of unique and diverse culture. And since i am a foodie, i can definitely teach you how to make some Indian recipes.
LEARN..I am always keen on learning a new language, especially the different expressions in a language. Also I would love to learn some local cuisines.
SHARE...I would be very happy to share my experiences as a traveler, more importantly anything you would want to know about my country (yes, it is much more than just elephants) :P
