I am from India, a graphic designer by profession, and an art and music buff. I love mingling with people of different cultures and discovering more about the world through their eyes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This is the first time I am traveling out of India, however, I have hosted guests from Germany and Italy through friends. I really enjoyed the experience of exchanging thoughts with people of different cultures and would like to do it more often. It is always better to stay with a local as they can give you a deeply unique perspective of their place.

Interests

Being an artist who paints, draws, designs and make music (I play the Indian bamboo flute), I love exploring the world and discovering different facets of it - so that it enriches me as a person and my art.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like rock, chill-out and jazz music and listen to artists from various countries. I like reading a lot and mostly read fiction, but good philosophy and essays are also interesting to read. Science fiction would be my favorite though. For movies I like watching a lot of animated films, or beautifully told stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Haha, there are many stories but it's hard to pick one. For instance, at one point I quit my well paying corporate job in Mumbai to work as waiter in a hotel in Goa - just to get a new life experience.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a lot of information about India, be a return host when they to my country, entertain them with art and music. And generally be a help with anything they are doing since I love working with my hands.
