Moin! My name is Gunnar, and this is my first experience with Couchsurfing! I’m currently traveling solo in Canada and have already explored a few amazing places in BC, AB, SK, YK and Alaska during my former visits to Canada. After a while, I realized I miss being around good people, so my girlfriend suggested I create a Couchsurfing account.

I did my masters in manufacturing engineering in Bremen and now work in the aerospace industry as a engineering consultant. I consider myself an open-minded cat dad, a bit shy at times, but also very curious and eager to meet new people.

Interests

My main hobby is photography. Mostly I do portraits of friends but when the sky is clear and maybe even a good aurora forecast, I will spend the night outside with my camera and try to capture beautiful long exposures and timelapses.
