I was born and raised in small town Alytus, Lithuania. Since I was a child I felt passion for arts, started making my own musical instruments and started experimental music band with my friends. From age 18 I moved to United Kingdom to study Digital Music and Sound arts in University of Brighton.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because I like to meet interesting local people who could tell more about the culture of country they live in and show city from not a tourist like perspective. Also I would like to meet travelers from all around the globe and in that way expand my knowledge about world and other cultures .

Music, Movies, and Books

I spend a lot of time watching films and listening music but to be honest i find quite difficult to name my favorite ones. One of my most favorite movies are 'Baraka' and 'Samsara' by Ron Fricke (The way he represented the world without using even one word in whole move is just amazing), also I truly like Jim Jarmusch movies especially 'Dead Man', 'Only lovers left alive' (this movie has one of my favorite soundtracks) and 'Coffee and cigarettes'. Also I really like some of Japanese animation classics such as 'Akira', 'Ghost in the shell', 'Spirited away', 'Princess mononoke', 'My neighbor totoro'.
