About Me

SEARCHING FOR A PLACE TO STAY IN PAMPLONA FOR SAN FERMIN!

I am a student at Clemson University studying abroad. I have a co-op program where I work for General Electric Healthcare on MRI machines in Florence, SC. I alternate working there and going to school for Mechanical Engineering.

I've lived in Ohio, Brazil, Connecticut, and now Charleston, South Carolina. I feel like I've got a very unique perspective on the world and a lot to share. This is also my second time to Europe (I've been to Italy / Switzerland / Greece / Turkey / Crete / Sicily).

June / July - Studying abroad in Madrid at Antonio De Nebrija University to improve my Spanish. I want to gain fluency and I need more immersion to help me reach my goal. Living in Madrid and travelling to other Spanish locations on the weekends.

Late July / Early August - I will be travelling around Europe with my best friend. The current itinerary is Amsterdam, Brussels, Dusseldorf, (another German city), Munich (Audi Cup), and finally Prague. Any recommendations or contacts are greatly appreciated!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

SEARCHING FOR A PLACE TO STAY IN PAMPLOMA FOR SAN FERMIN!

I'm also looking to meet new people and to get a perspective of Spain that differs from most typical tourist experiences.

I'm happy to get drinks, contribute to making homemade meals, share experiences, or to simply crash on the couch and leave it at that.

I'd love to teach anyone English in exchange for some time conversing in Spanish!

Interests

Waterskiing / Wakeboarding, Soccer, Travel, Running, Crossfit, GoPro, exploring new cities.

I love Students Helping Honduras, an organization that travels to Honduras to break a cycle of poverty, provide sustainable living solutions, and build schools from the ground up. I have been to Honduras once for a week, but I plan on returning at least once more.

I love being on the water in any way shape or form. I love futebol / football / soccer in all forms. I've played, reffed, watched, coached, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As philanthropy chair of my fraternity, I coordinated my fraternity's philanthropy event "Beta Lei" and helped us raise $20,000 for a pediatric-cancer fighting organization called the Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation (bepositive.org)
