ABOUT ME

After a long backpacking trip I'm back in Orlando. Started an Apprenticeship under another Chef in town, and since then have learned alot, worked a lot, and now I'm ready for the summer to bring hot humid weather and good people into my life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I´m new to couchsurfing, but have made many friends who had been passing through Orlando and stayed at a friends house through CS. Unfortunately I wasnt able to host , but Im eager to try it out and meet new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm comfortable with the classics, recently I've watched some Kurosawa, Army of Shadows, High Noon. Last time I went to the theater I couldn't resist Tron: Legacy. I'm a regular at the local indie theater. On music, lately I've been listening to Fela Kuti, Ted Sirota, Menehan Street Band, but I'll always love old stand by's like Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Rolling Stones, etc. On my nightstand bookshelf are Heinlein's "Stranger in a Strange Land", "The Quiet American", a couple cookbooks and culinary texts, I read the National Geographic religiously every month.
