ABOUT ME

I grew up on a small farm and love spending time outdoors, especially when it's really warm out. I enjoy riding motorcycle and bicycles and working on building projects. I'm very interested in cultural and political history and really like cooking and learning about food and water and health.

I'm currently travelling to Germany to visit Universities and hopefully continue my undergraduate studies there!

I love soul and neo-soul and pop and R&B the most (James Brown, Erykah Badu, D'Angelo, Sade) and also enjoy singer-songwriter and alt-country music a great deal (Angel Olson, Cat Power, Bonnie Prince Billy, Townes Van Zandt). I came of age on classic punk rock such as Velvet Underground, Iggy and the Stooges, Bad Brains, and the Clash but don't listen to it much anymore, although I still enjoy going to a heavy rock concert now-and-then :)

I love so many movies and books, although I read mostly non-fiction. I'm not that good at making favorite lists because there are just so many!

I rode a $300 Honda GoldWing from Minnesota to the Florida Keys in February.

Labor and building skills including home repair and handiwork as well as art installation. Bicycle, motorcycle and auto mechanic help. I love sharing responsibilities and helping with projects of many kinds.
