ABOUT ME
Oh, it's always hard to describe yourself. But I guess I'll give it a try.
I would like to see myself as a positive person. I'm mostly like everybody else who travels, i like to experience new things and meet all different kinds of people! I'm creative and passionate about the things i do. I often go "all in" with most things in my life. It's 100% or nothing.
I also love to drink beer and laugh with my friends. And photography, i like my cameras.
I'm born in Uppsala Sweden, but i moved to Copenhagen a couple years ago to study at the architecture school - Kunstakademiets arkitektskole. It's been my dream since i was a little kid playing with my Lego-bricks.
Before i started studying architecture I've been traveling and working - and I've studied Chinese and Art history. I've been working at an airport and with a moving company. I've been behind a bar and i've been driving a tractor at a vineyard.
I like the sea, and water in general. If i had the time and money i would by a boat and sail around the world. But that doesn't mean i'm not up for a hike!
PHILOSOPHY
I think as long as everybody tries to have a good time, they do!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've only been surfing until now.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm not the most experienced couch surfer. But the people I've met so far have been great.
Interests
Architceture, photography and art are my mayor interests. I draw and photograph a lot in my spear time. For the moment i have my fathers old Olympus OM-1. I also paint when i have the time.
Aside from that I have an old Saab 900, which is a fantastic car that i take care of. I like to sail and to be out at sea. I've done a lot of scuba diving and free diving, and i love to swim. If I have the time i like to cook and bake. I don't say no to good wine and beer, I like beer! I have four bikes, two racers an old military bike and an old Monark.
I like to renovate and build things. Furniture, houses you name it!

Music, Movies, and Books
I have wide taste in music. Currently I'm listening to a lot of Tom Waits and blues. But everything from Kraftwerk to Beethoven goes!
The last book in read was "The boys from Brazil". I'm currently reading three pr four books. I don't remember.
I used to go to the Gothenburg film festival before I moved to Denmark. That was a lot of fun. But i can watch anything, as long as I'm in good company.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My "working holiday" as a 19 year old in Western Australia. We did a lot of driving in my old Ford falcon stationary wagon. We drove the west coast and stayed at some amazing places and saw some wild things - diving in Ningaloo marine national park is hard to beat!
The trip we did to Romania last year is also an all time high. Traveling through Romania was just amazing. All the friendly people and the beautiful nature. Not to forget all the ruins/abandoned factories that what's left from the communist era. A very interesting country.
Being in Copenhagen and studying architecture. I love it.
Teach, Learn, Share
For the moment i try to learn spanish and german. I've been studying a little bit Chinese. I think Dutch is a fascinating language. I always try and learn some of the language where I'm going.
I like to experience and see some of the local architecture and art scene.
My camera goes with me everywhere. If you don't know how to operate an old manual camera, i can teach you!
I almost forgot, i really like to cook. It's the best way to get to know someone - over food and wine!
