Hi, I'm Gustavo.
I have been living my all my life in Portugal, still, I travelled around europe with my family before.
Films and cinema in general are my passion and i have spent a lot of time study them and enjoying them. I talk a lot and like to tell stories; In the past I practice rugby, football, fencing and several other sports, i dont like to stay put in one place.
I directed and wrote a horror short film, and i am currently on the process of writing another... let's see how that turns out.
I sing all the time, when I'm alone or with friends (they are all musicians so i am not alone).
hmmm... and i guess thats it.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Well... I need to get away.
Someone told me "write what you know. cause it will be good.", But all i know is my place, my friends and my habits. I need new people and new stories.
So i set up a plan (that i hope it works) to go from Portugal to Russian, by foot and hitchike.
Talking to my friends they told me to come here, since i have almost no money, only good intentions.
Thats why I am here.

This is allways a hard question...
Music depends on the mood, but a song that allways makes me happy is "country roads, take me home".

Movies I really cant say one.,. I have tons of favorite ones. Maybe "El labirinto del fauno" by guillermo Del Toro.

Books is easier. "kafka by the shore", "the old man and the sea", "make belive town", "1984". Those are just some of them.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

As i said before, i maneged to do a short film, and that sounds easy. Everyone with a phone can make a film. But for me it was so amazing to work on it.
I wrote the first draft 4 years ago, and last year, after university i called a production house, after six months of meetings, gathering a crew of 17 people (camera operators, clothing, make up, assistents etc), finding locations, contacting actors and actresses, I found myself with a budget.
During the shooting I noticed for the first time, that all of those people belived in me, and my storie. It was the best felling of my life.
I think that counts as an amazing thing.

I need to grow, and to meet new people. I want to share all my experiences and i want people to do the same with me.
I want to see something that I never dreamed seeing and i want to do just the same to others.

Well... my stories. My companie. And cooking skills, if you give me home for a night ill cook with pleasure. I can teach some portuguese and some movie facts and how to play the kazoo (easiest instrument ever ahah).
I can share my life. if you allow me to enter yours.
