About Me

A simple person who likes soccer, music, books and meeting new people. I entered in couchsurfing because I want a real experience about the places I'll visit, going forward then just taking pictures in the tourists spots.
I'm usually quick making new friends and I'm always comfortable in almost any situation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm in Couchsurfing to immerse in a new culture.

Interests

I want to really discover the culture in the country/city I'm visiting. From clothes to local food, language, dance, mores, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think one of the most surprising experiences I ever had was in a day I had to ask change for a beggar. It happened when I was going to lunch in a very cheap restaurant near University, so I had just a single bank note of R$ 2,00 (something like U$ 0,50) and the cost of the restaurant was R$ 1,30. Then, the beggar approached me and my friend and asked us for money. I said him I could give him R$ 0,70 because the rest of the money I would need to lunch before the work, so I would need the change. The beggar said it was ok, and picked the money he had (it was actually a lot more than I had). I think he felt sorry for me because he gave me back R$ 0,50 and than thanked me. After this, my friend said "man, you realized you just asked for change to a beggar?". Just after that I realized what really happened.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Portuguese, Brazilian culture and Brazilian food, especially "caipirinha", a traditional drink in Brazil.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good conversation, preparing brazilian food, reciprocity if they visit Curitiba (Brazil).
