ABOUT ME

Wow, difficult!

I'll try this way: I like to talk and think about things practically useless, I like cats and don't like dogs and horses (sorry), I like big cities, I don't like trains, I like old Citroën cars (DS!), I like to eat much, I don't like to drink much, I used to like Burger King more than McDonald's, but now it's vice versa (don't know why), I don't drink coffee, I love grammar and etymology, I don't think Penelope Cruz is beautiful, I'm left-handed, I didn't like Snape in Harry Potter, I always put the banknotes in my wallet in increasing order, I don't like having my hair cut, I like the smell of newly bought books, I don't like the whole 3D in movies, I think Ludwig van Beethoven was the greatest man who walked the earth.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm kind of worried by the unceasing erosion of individual freedom and responsibility and rising popularity of collectivism, which I think is ultimately a fallacious idea.

A friend of mine talked me into making myself a profile here, so I did. Haven't got much experience, though. I'm a rather shy person, but I thought this could be a good way to overcome my rather cautious nature. :)

兴趣

I love Classical music (mainly late Baroque - 1st half of 20th century, my absolute superhero: Beethoven), play piano, too. After Beethoven, my favourites include: Handel, Mozart, Dvorak, Brahms, Wagner, Chopin. From non-Classical, I sometimes like to listen to Bee Gees, and some French singers like Charles Aznavour mainly. :)

Languages, particularly their history! The most interesting foreign languages for me: Romanian and Hungarian (especially from this point of view). I wish I spoke better Romanian... well - still learning, still learning. I seriously love this stuff (anything grammar-related, too) and there is always some danger I'll engage in a long monologue about it if unstopped. :)

Another big interest of mine would be economics. Basically, I'm a horrifying libertarian, so I won't go deeper into the topic, as it's not that popular these days. ;)

About a year ago I bought a camera and started to learn photography, I'm not good, but have good intentions!

Plus: computer games & eating. Yep.

I love films. Favourites: films of Woody Allen (Crimes and Misdemeanors, Manhattan, Annie Hall, Broadway Danny Rose, Husbands and Wives...), Rosemary's Baby, 12 Angry Men, Pure Formality, Amadeus, Doubt, The Thing, Cube, Alien... the last one that enchanted me was Gravity.

Right know the Tosca in summer 2012 in Budapest Opera comes to my mind first, I was utterly enchanted by that performance, I remember it to this day.
