I love to try new and thrilling things, even when I'm slightly scared beforehand I usually like the thrill. Especially when travelling, this mindset is quite apparent. Furthermore, I like to go around with my friends and love them for their openness towards strangers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I'm travelling, every day is a new discovery quest. I like to learn about new places and the amazing concept of Couchsurfing is to meet new and local people, which can prove difficult when travelling.

Interests

At home, I like to sport (this summer the main activity consisted of speed cycling) and go about to discover Haarlem or other spots / events. Also, I make my own drinks and like to cook or bake something new every week.Furthermore, I meet quite often with my friends to drink a beer and go out.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving in Australia - such a thrill it was!
Jumping the Blaukrans bridge (South Africa) - Even scarier than skydiving but again, the thrill!
Climbing the Kilimanjaro (Tanzania) - After walking for 3 days, finally reaching the top by full moon with the sun coming up when we reached the top. Just amazing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My friends, the best tips / tour for Haarlem and in lesser extend for Amsterdam, my love for specialty beers, maybe a good meal at my place, and of course my couch or floor.
