Hi there, Im Guus. It's a very Dutch name, most internationals call me Goose. I’m currently everywhere and nowhere at the same time. I am spending a year traveling around Europe. Which means I don't have a house so no place to host from. I hope I will get to host again in the future tho.

Me as a traveler:
When I’m visiting a new place, I’m always interested in history and culture. I love to wander around a new city without any direction. That is if I have had my coffee. Otherwise, I will use google maps to find me the nearest café. Expressionist art is amazing to me, I will spend 5 hours in a museum just staring at paintings. I’m not a crazy night live person but I won’t say no to seeing a live band.

Me as a host:
As a host I'm open to hang out but I also enjoy my time alone. I love to show you some of my favorite places and go on some adventures together. I get along with people easily and I'm naturally curious. I appreciate open and clear communication since I like to know what to expect and count on. My Dutch directness does help with achieving that.

I’m on couch surfing since traveling to me means getting to know new places and no other than a local can introduce me to a new place better. Furthermore, I love meeting new people especially travelers because of their open minded and curious nature. And it allows me to invite the Traveling vibe home when my life is just slow and same old ritme at home.

兴趣

I will be entertained forever when talking about social issues. Also I won't ever shut up about it...
I love to hike, especially in the mountains.

I love to cook for my host. And I try to lighten up my hosts day a bit when I can. I love to argue and discuss things so I can probably help you with thinking processes by questing stuff and by giving counter arguments. Besides that I know a lot of things a little bit but not a lot so not much to teach I am afraid
