I grew up in Cape Town (school & university) but have been traveling and working overseas the last 6 years. I'm proudly South African but my parents were born in England so I also have a British passport. I absolutely love traveling and have friends all over the world. I'm currently working at Club Med Phuket in Thailand as a Golf Pro. I havn't used couch surfing in 7 years but am in USA for a month (currently skiing in Colorado) and am hoping to meet some great people in the LA/Orange County area when I'm there for a week. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used couchsurfing a few times in Europe 7 years ago. It was great but with work and travel I just havn't had the opportunity to use it since. I will be in California for a week and don't have many friends there so thought it would be a great idea to try it again. Really hoping to meet some great new like-minded people. I live by these 2 quotes and I think any couchsurfer would feel the same way:

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Helped build a school and teach underprivileged children in Kenya. Incredible experience. Had a massive Great White shark swim under me whilst surfing. Running with the bulls in Pamplona. List is endless.

I have traveled to many countries & I feel I have lots of stories and experiences to share. My current job is one where I am working in a team with 30 nationalities and meeting people from all over the world every single day. Sport is my life and I've played and taught many at a high level.
