CURRENT MISSION
learn, discover, share, experiment, live intensely
ABOUT ME
People who don't know me would probably put me in the "middle-aged" group, but that would be a gross misconception! I turned my life around 7 years ago, and decided to be happy instead of just being successful in my professional life. So I dropped everything, went back to school, embraced my artistic and creative side, and stopped being just reasonable and sensible. Now I try to live according to my values (respect for others and the environment, caring for people less fortunate than me) and my passions : painting, photography, learn as much as I can from others, share my experiences and discoveries, and live for now, not for a distant tomorrow that may not be...
PHILOSOPHY
"...the capacity to care is the thing which gives life its deepest significance."
- Pablo Casals
"Creativity requires the courage to let go of certainties"
-Erich Fromm
"Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened"
- unknown...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
new to CS, I have yet to meet anyone from this crowd. I joined some local groups, but have not yet hosted, or surfed anywhere... But I am preparing to spend some time soon to the south of France and Italy, Barcelona, maybe a stop in Paris and London, or anywhere else interesting that comes my way...for an undetermined lenght of time.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
none so far... I have traveled in the past, but with organized tours, which of course prevents you from interacting significantly with the local people in the countries you visit...That is why I am excited (in a good way!) to couchsurf, instead of staying at armslenght in nice hotels.
Interests
arts, architecture, design, photography, history, psychology, new tastes and flavors, people, nature and landscape, anything that is beautiful, the water and most activities related to it, learning.

I love to cook, as long as it is not just for myself, and if you need any ideas to improve your living space, I can help you with that too.
