Overview
About Me
an introvert data scientist who enjoys meeting new people and traveling around, could you imagine?
I live in Montreal with my partner of 6 years (🏳️🌈), who is also a Couchsurfer, and often find myself in a random city around the world on a little (or big) getaway. always happy to connect with locals and experience places from a different point of view (but also just happy sometimes with a place to crash and stay out of your way!)
We also enjoy sharing our spare room (well, my home office) with friendly folks in a need of a place to crash or a city guide.
I'm a big data nerd, and sometimes write about it on Medium (ask me for the link!). I love traveling, and am lucky enough to already see and experience a nice chunk of the world (and taste it).
in the past couple of years have been living in Buenos Aires for the winter months, making it a southern hemisphere home <3
Also, very much into lists, so if you ever in need of a list of restaurants in a random city, or cafes that are good for laptop sessions, or good take out food, feel free to ask even if you're not staying with me :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
hosted a bunch of people over the years and loved their company, and got to stay with a few people that were super awesome and generous and soooo welcoming, that i'm happy to call friends to this day.
hoping this stays the case as i'm making the comeback to the platform :)
Interests
could find something to talk about with almost anybody and more than happy to get to know other cultures, people and especially opinions that are different than mine (even if about politics).
i enjoy going out for a calm cocktail or beer or coffee, and an occasional all nighter party in an abandoned warehouse is also an option.
sharing travel experiences, advice and ideas are also high up my list
