About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be the change I wish to see in the world.

ABOUT ME

I have chronic wanderlust and am currently trying to live my dreams in Taiwan.

I was a born adventurer. My first memories are from when I was three and I used to ride my little plastic tricycle around the block just to see what was on the other side.

-TOWNES VAN ZANDT

Television:

If you like Tim and Eric Awesome Show: Great Job! we are going to get along finely

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have a number of life moments that hold a special place in my heart, including but not limited to:

-counting down New Years Eve on a highrise rooftop in Taichung, and watching as hundreds of fireworks all over the city simultaneously went off.

-a boat ride down a beautiful canal on a perfectly clear spring day in Shaoxing, China.

-A wicked whirlwind food tour through Singapore with a great CS host.

-jumping naked off of a 30 foot cliff into the lake in my college town in the middle of the night

-Getting completely lost in Bangkok and enjoying the hell out of it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a passion for good conversation. I believe that having experiences and sharing them with one another is the key to personal and human growth.

As far as actual things to teach, I can teach you some Chinese (I've been studying for 4 years, and living in Taiwan and China for over 2!)

I am also getting pretty good at guitar (I've been playing seriously for about a year now), so I can teach you some beginner guitar.

I also like to cook (especially Mexican food, which is a specialty since I am from Texas). I can teach you to make bread, curries, hummus, etc. I'm always happy to provide a home cooked meal.

I also enjoy surfing, although I'm fairly new, so if we go surfing together there's a good chance you'll be teaching me!

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, China, Honduras, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

China, Taiwan, United States
