I'm Gweal, a student who wishes to meet as many people as possible and learn as much as possible. I live in Helsinki, a city of that can be both grey, white and full of colors. This is usually a contrast between different seasons.

I'm mixed together of different ingredients, most of me comes from Finland where I've lived my whole life and visited South Sudan, where my dad was from, twice in my life. I've always been surrounded by diverse people and for me nationality isn't to be taken too seriously.

I like writing, reading, discovering music and people. Sending postcards is also a hobby so if I've enjoyed your company (I'm very easy to please) you can look forward to a card from somewhere in the future.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I have previosly hosted some people I've got to know through friends because they needed a place to stay. I lived in a studio and it was too peaceful sometimes. I always had good experiences with hostees and I've made some lasting friendships through couchsurfing. I like cooking together with others more than cooking alone and I believe in sharing.

兴趣

I enjoy all sports, especially football, martial arts and swimming. I also enjoy making and listening to music. Another on of my hobbies is watching movies, which is my way of unwinding with friends. I also do postcrossing, hitchhiking, learning languages with a buddy.

Books: I consume books at a rate of 3-5/month. Paul Auster, Yasar Kemal, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Kjell Westö, Milan Kundera are some of my favorite writers

Swedish and Finnish language. I know lots of random facts about History and can draw a world map without having a model. Living on a low cost budget is something I'm learning and I'm interested in growing my own food. Dancing is another prospect of learning.
