ABOUT ME

Hello future couchlender or surfer ! First things first, i am french so i like food ! i could talk about it 24/7 and it is the biggest thing i miss on the road, so if you have a kitchen, chances are i'm gonna cook for you !
More than a year ago, i started a very long journey around the planet, my goal : go from paris to paris through Sydney without flying ! In the meantime, i study the local techniques of construction, and i try to find construction sites to learn with my hands as well. I am always happy to learn ideas, the country's history, anything that makes sense to my host.. I think also travelling for a long time give me a responsability : try to grasp some of the complexity of the world, and share it with some people at home that only know the media's -necessary- simplified version.
Otherwise if you just want to go out, talk about stupid stuff, drink any local stuff and have fun, I'm in !

PHILOSOPHY

I am going to be lazy, but i believe in humankind,and i believe the quest for being a better self is the soul's food. Since i couldn't say it better myself :

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am -sort of- new to couchsurfing. But even though i am away, i can sometimes accomodate in Paris the people i met. I am also a host in hospitalityclub. All my friends now that my door is always open ! Couchsurfing is very similar to my favorite thing in the world : hitchhiking ! The more we are, the better !

Interests

whoo, a lot of stuff ! anything related to music, i have a guitar with me at all times. I enjoy playing violin and piano as well, and i like to sing along, especially with friends ! I love drawing and am starting a new interest in photography. But i am mostly interested in the "why" of things, in history, sociology, politics, and how these subjects affect the everyday life of regular people.
