Hi, I'm Gwen!
I'm 18 years old, finished high school in Germany last year and spent the last couple of moths working and traveling. I love seeing new places, meeting new people and sharing those experiences with others.
I enjoy drawing, listening to music and spending lots of time outside and with my friends.
I also really enjoy cooking and baking.
I believe that (and I think through solo traveling those traits got a lot stronger) I'm a very open and open minded person and connect easily with others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I created this profile because I have a very low budget at the moment but still want to see more of the world. I also think it might be a fun way to meet new people and maybe even make new friends!

I like to listen to rock/indie rock music such as Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, The white Stripes, Nirvana, The Smiths, Imagine Dragons ...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent 10 weeks traveling through Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam (backpacking) and mostly traveled by myself. I think it is different from traveling with friend or partner and I'd definitely do it again - and will. I met so many great people, had so many interesting conversations and saw so many different places (culture, nature), it was an incredible experience for me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't know if that's a thing people want to learn or practice but my english and german (haha) are pretty good so if somebody's interested I can try to teach that a bit. Oh and I love to cook (only vegan though) so I'd be happy to prepare some food for us!
When I'm in a new city I also love to see the less touristy areas and see how the local people live.
