About Me

I am interested in art, music, travel and learning languages. I have studied English language and art at university. I
travelled across Japan and Indonesia, and now I live in Montreal !
I might seem a bit shy at first but I love to share experiences; I am curious and really looking forward to share a different culture from mine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I came on Couchsurfing in order to meet people who could host me during my journeys: I believe that spending time with locals and sharing their home, habits, and knowledge is the best way to truly immerse in a different culture.
And I would love hosting people but it's impossible for the moment :(

Interests

I am interested in languages, foreign cultures, travelling, rock music, photography, art and literature.
I used to play the bass in rock bands at some point, and I'm looking forward to play again !

Music, Movies, and Books

Music : LOADS
Movies : LOADS (but mostly independent cinema, I love Wes Anderson for example)
Books : LOADS . I am currently reading Roland Barthes', A lover's discourse, and book 4 of Elena Ferrante's Neapolitan Novels, and Mishima's Golden Pavillion

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taking a flight for Japan without having my passport done, climbing a volcano with the worst sunburns on the back of my legs, climb a 2 meters high fence and jump in a muddy snow with my heavy backpack in order to get the bus to London, beat my claustrophobia and explore caves...
Everything is an adventure, right ?

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach French and English languages, and share all I know about French and English cultures :) and certainly many other things, but I can't think of them specifically right now !

What I Can Share with Hosts

Food, music, the history of my country, and I know some great jokes too (YES, they're funny!)

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Indonesia, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada, France
