One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once went to L'ile de la Reunion (somewhere east of Madagascar). It's an island made up of 2 (or 3) vulcanos, at least one of them active. We decided climbing one of them (3000+ m) and stopped for the night at a small cabin some hundred meters from the top. At three a clock in the morning we got up and started on the last part of the mountain. What was waiting for us was first of all an amazing view, what was special however was the sunrise which painted the whole sky orange as well as the other volcano glowing red in the distance. It was so beautiful the time stood still!
