To make the most of the years ahead
I'm in the middle of an English Literature and Latin degree at the University of Edinburgh, which is a cold and often rainy, but very beautiful city.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have socialised with/been hosted by people in several continents, and also met up with people in my home country, the UK.
Someone I met in a hostel in Croatia told me about this fantastic experience she'd had CouchSurfing and I was struck by what a good idea it sounded. Before coming to university I took a gap year and met fantastic people in Hong Kong, Vietnam and Australia, some of whom I've reciprocally met up with since being back in the UK.
Reading, meeting people, travelling, music, films
Music, Movies, and Books
I always find it hard to list 'favourites'. I enjoy many classics, including Thomas Hardy, Jane Austen and Charles Dickens, as well as more contemporary authors such as Jonathan Coe, Nick Hornby, Margaret Atwood. Reading 100 Years of Solitude made me a major convert to magical realism!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living in the Australian outback

I'm a native English speaker and have fairly basic and rusty Spanish which I'd like to improve.
