ABOUT ME

Grew up in the sticks and moved to the beach. Had a blast partying it up down south and wanted to change it up so I moved north a bit. Now I'm somewhere in the middle and loving life, there's mountains, beach, culture and NYC all within a few hours!

Right now I'm in school, working towards a second degree in nursing and starting a new career. I enjoy every minute of my spare time and am always doing something!

Found out about this site through a friend, here to meet people and try it out! Love to travel and am looking forward to my first CS experience.

Interests

Outdoors, adventure travel, anything active-I'll try anything once! In winter I'm busy snowboarding, sledding, tubing and making random snowmen...and am stuck rock climbing indoors as I haven't ventured into ice climbing/mountaineering territory yet...spring means the beginning of hiking and backpacking season, sprinkled with weekends of nothing at the BEACH!

On the agenda for summer: Skydiving, hang gliding and whitewater rafting!

Also love the arts, theater, music, museums-and am enjoying everything this part of the country has to offer. I love wandering around one of the Smithsonian Museums for the day or visiting the many galleries in the area. The Kennedy Center is a favorite place for performances as is Wolf Trap in summer.

I love going to concerts and festivals and am gearing up for Shamrockfest in a few weeks!!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music-I like everything but (most) country music. Electronica (progressive house and trance) and rock are mainly what's on rotation right now. Live music-anyone that puts on a good show-past faves have been everything from Nine Inch Nails and Nickelback to Lil Wayne and K-Ci and Jojo to Tiesto (twice last year!) and David Guetta. Crossing my fingers that I'll (somehow!) make it down to Ultra this year...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's a tie-either cliff jumping in Mykonos or driving up the Edelweiss-Spitze on the Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse (it took an entire day of driving before I was brave enough to drive up that thing!)
