ABOUT ME

I'm an aesthete and an existentialist, I think there's beauty to be seen in every single aspect of life and I thoroughly enjoy finding it, being exposed to it, and giving it expression in my life. I'm a bohemian and very cosmopolitan, I enjoy all aspects of modern life but always felt anachronic. I'm a bit suspicious of people at first but only because I keep friends for life. I'm generally regarded as easy going and social (there's nothing better than a good laugh or some high conversation over a cup of coffee). Although the concept fascinates and excites my imagination, I do not have a wandering soul, I'd still like to travel to several places but home will always be closest to my heart. I'm socially and politically minded but not partisan, I detest vacuous thought and sheep behavior. Finally I feel, like a renaissance man, that one should try a bit of everything, know a bit of everything.

Although I do not share Tolstoy's view on a quiet life in the country and would much rather the violent jolt of Woolf's cities the rest of the quote sums up my views on life.

I don't have a couch available and probably won't ever ask you for one but I'm available for a coffe or to show you around town (and that's the most I'll ask of you too).
