ABOUT ME

To describe myself (always ones number 1 fav choice of activities)...

People who first meet me would say I'm quiet but my friends would say I'm the life of the party. I'm down to earth and feel as comfortable in an old pair of jeans as I do in a cocktail dress.

Most people are stuck in the everyday trenches of life doing what they do on a daily basis just because its what they need to do to get by. Everyone knows that life is short and they have a list of things they want to do before 50 but these are things we should all be doing on a daily basis.

Anyways...

My favorite personal item is a pschedelic black and white felt wall hanging that my mum had in her room in the 70's. I love antiques, writing, reading being out of my familiar zone in strange places meeting new people.

I joined this site quite awhile ago with the intention of changing my life around doing more of what I enjoy. I have taken one step in that direction (quiting a mind numbing 9-5 position to attend uni - which I am loving and will lead me to a career I'll love) now I'm updating my profile with the intention of following though on all those travel plans I have let lye.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although I have had this profile for awhile I have been slow in using it.

I have now hosted 2 people who found me on this site (1 for 2 weeks and another for 1 night)

Have hosted 1 person who was a friend of a friend (for 1 month)

I have had a few couchsurfing experiences unrelated to this site however I think this site will open up many more possibilities.

I am currently planning a trip to africa for the end of this year and I hope to have some souch surfing experiences then.
