About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To bring beauty and joy to the lives of those I touch and to love every choice I make. Life is short, I want to make sure I live it to the fullest.

ABOUT ME

I'm a consummate gemini. I love to explore and try new things. You will never hear me say, "I'm bored," because I'm always planning fun experiences whether it is a trip to see a friend, travel to a new destination, a lesson in something I've never done before like acrobatics, cooking a dish for the first time, or hosting a social.

I'm adventurous and I consider myself pretty intense in the sense that I'm always pushing myself to grow as a person--to be healthy mentally and physically--and to be a good person--to live in a sustainable and spiritual manner. That said, I'm also pretty laid back in that while I may hold myself to high standards, I don't judge others. I've been told I'm a great listener. I'm definitely a big thinker.

I love, love, love to have fun. Fun for me is engaging in any of my interests below as well as sharing the fun and joy of life. I love to appreciate others and love appreciation!

PHILOSOPHY

Variety is the spice of life. Details do matter. Life is short, eat dessert first.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to couch surf in Puerto Rico--my next big trip--and of course, for all future trips. Eventually hope to host couch surfers when I have my own place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Newbie.

Interests

Getting lost in big cities; getting out of big cities and into nature, taking photographs of everything I find artistic and beautiful; experimenting with baking delicious and healthy goodies; practicing meditation (on a daily basis when I am good!); writing actual letters to friends and family; blogging about my experiences; practicing yoga; learning, learning, learning; reading anything good; dancing; trying new things and always challenging myself to grow.

Favorite books: The Artist's Way, The Little Prince

Pretty much anything that inspires growth and adventure.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The hike to Macchu Picchu was pretty amazing. I really had no idea what MP was about, which I think made it all the better. I was fortunate to visit the Galapagos Islands twice! Truly an amazing and living museum of evolution.
