What would my friends say about me? Hmmm...

Perhaps something along the lines of:

We love our gypsy when we see him, for we know his aims are genuine in his quest to uncover the stratified layers of the human condition. He would be the first to tell you he LOVES to travel but we know better - simply put, he MUST travel and we love it when he brings us new words hard to pronounce and recipes from far and wide, offering stories and anecdotes from lands beyond horizons which seem at times like mirrors right before us and make room for a wee bit o' introspection regarding our own plight naturally woven together with the plight of others on this gloriously spinning blue-green marble floating in the sea of space, all of us with our multitude of gifts embedded in our souls falling always and forever like fruit from our respective trees, landing upon one another's shores to feed and be fed by the hearts, minds and shared experiences of the families we find ourselves fortunate enough to create...

Now I feel like I'm just putting words in my friends' mouths:)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am a newbie to the couch surfing circuit. I haven't been able to host yet as I had limited space in my last apartment, but I look forward to eventually getting set up with a place in Saigon after I've travelled through SE Asia for a while and hosting my fellow travelers.

Interests

reading, travel (naturally), learning languages, both listening to and creating music, being in nature, camping, hiking, fishing, snowboarding, playing sports, hanging with dear friends, theater, film, the list goes on and on!!!
