Hiking, climbing, stand-up, live music, and philosophizing are some of my life’s pursuits.

Just finished my PhD, and now I’m enthusiastically working towards building socially-responsible AI, AI that doesn’t violate our freedoms, doesn’t forgo our privacy, and helps us solve big problems of our time, cure to cancer, bring equity to the society, and that ease our lives so that we all — yes, all of us, every being — have the freedom to live the life we want.

Classic, indie rock/pop, actually anything that goes with my state of mind or mood. I'm really into thrillers, adventure, fantasy and war movies. Some of the good ones are: Lord of the Rings (trilogy) Heat (one of the best of Al Pacino and Robert De Niro ) Saving Private Ryan (Tom Hanks, do watch Tom Hank's Forrest Gump if you haven't already) Gladiator Silence of the Lambs.
Free Man's Worship, "Guns, Germa, and Steel", Black Swan, 1984, and Animal Farm are among the books I have read.

We (I and some friends of mine) drove all the way from New Jersey to Key West, Florida making stops in between states, cities and islands meeting amazing people. This without a doubt was one of the best things so far! Key West's sun set view from cruise is one of the best in the world, and yeah! for partying, you can't find a better place than Miami.
