About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Tree Hug

ABOUT ME

I love traveling. I never want to quit learning, I always want to try new things and learn about myself by pushing myself in new ways. I try never to regret anything because everything is a lesson and you can never regret learning something new.The most important thing in life that I have learned so far is to enjoy the moment you are in, you hardly get second chances, so live in the moment.  Everything in life will work out, don't stress yourself out by worrying; everything will turn out as it should. Now to the fun stuff......I love playing and watching any type of sports. I've played soccer for 12 years and coached for 2 years. I also off and on play women's rugby 15's and 7's.I've played ultimate frisbee for about a year. My majors in school are Spanish, Anthropology and International Studies. My dreamjob is to be a Treehugger in the Ecuadorian or Brazilian rainforest.  And study indigenous cultures.I love making macrame bracelets and necklances and would love to learn more knots.

PHILOSOPHY

Take advantage of what you have and what you're given and make the most out of it. Aprovechar

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to couch surfing. Currently I'm looking for couches to surf although later when I'm not studying abroad I would LOVE to host people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed with someone in Montevideo, Uruguay and that was my first time, it was interesting, I didn't know exactly what to think about it, but now that the 1st one is done, i know what do to, think, ask and act. I'm excited about doing more surfing and hosting in the future.

Millenium 2000 New Years in London, England. The time I traveled alone for the first time to Buenos Aires. It was the most amazing expierence of my life. I never knew i was living without confidence and with so much fear, Buenos Aires truely changed my life and I am so much more confident in myself now.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning new languages, I took 2 years of Russian in High School, along with 1 year of German and 4 years of Spanish. And continuing Spanish in the University.I always get really excited coaching little kids sports, hence why i coached soccer for 2 years, it's great to see that you've done something in order for them to improve themselves and see that you've made a difference
