ABOUT ME:

Now that that is out of the way, once again I host to meet people and learn about their travels. I truly appreciate the traveling spirit. I really enjoy cooking with guests and learning about their culture.

I was a national Direct AmeriCorps member for three years. One year was in Lafayette La, another was in Pittsburgh Pa and finally here in lovely portland. I traveled for 5 years in the states and 2 years in Europe and Central America. I am currently a PE civil engineer at KPFF.

I work at kpff from home. I like to go hiking and watch live music on the weekend.

I've had nothing but good experiences. Learned, how to cook a few things. I was given some good recommendations for places to go and things to see. All and all it's been quite nice.

Intereses

Health, fantasy, helping others, knowledge, rock climbing, yoga, nature, culture, survival strategies, problem solving, the obscure, traveling, the magic hour,urban exploring (if it's run down, rusted and over grown it is beautiful) and long shadows. Whiskey, beer, rivers and good times. A healthy range of films and art or forms of creativity.

Music = It is mood based and relative to the setting. My interest can range from grime to misfits, justice to johnny cash or atmosphere to white stripes. green day, offspring, rage against the machine, beach boys, The Beatles, spice girls, garth brooks, sublime, nirvana, and Bob Marley is what I grew up with.
