ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Hadas. I am a non-formal education worker, working regularly around the clock trying to make the world a better place! Every now and then I manage to squeeze into my schedule a small vacation in the amazing style of no budget, no plans. I live in a city-kibbutz in Rishon Letzion Israel. We have great spirits and some spare rooms!
PHILOSOPHY
Left-winged socialist humanist etc.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Open to hosting and looking for surfing!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I hung out with couchsurfers and locals in Barcelona, Which was awesome. It made me realize couch sleeping is so much better than a fancy hotel. Even when I have the money - it never beats the communication.
Interests
Well, I sometimes say that I could simply live and entire life without working and only learning and practicing my interests!
So first thing is reading - I read tons of books. A habit from young age. So I can always give and get reccomandations!
Second is all kinds of body arts - I try really hard to practice all kinds of things. Currently I'm into Yoga, Running, HipHop and Acrobalance. That's a lot to try doing in my tight schedule, But I know it always makes me happy, so I try my best.
I'm a pretty artsy person, though I don't quite find the time for practice. I might start learning animation soon, and would love to gain knowledge if you have any in this subject!
Also I'm busy thinking and talking and reading philosophy. I seem to be a very ideological person. I spent a few years swimming in the land of eastern philosophies, and now I'm very into exploring feminism. If you're up for the challenge - let's have a talk!

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: My favorite are - The elegance of the hedgehog, Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance and everything by Haruki Murakami. Also a lot of hebrew writing you probably haven't heard of - Amos Oz, David Grossman and so on.
Music: I'd say I'm an indie folk person. Although I do have exceptions. Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros, Joni Mitchell, Laura Mvula, Stromae, The Angelcy (Israeli band you have to listen to) are now on my playlist. I love sharing my music and listening to new stuff.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Worked and still working in education. Nothing compares to how hard that is. But still the most important and relevant thing to do.
Teach, Learn, Share
