I grew up in Alexandria, Egypt and lived for two years in Cairo and a year in Colombia. Until very recently I was an English teacher, then I decided to move to the UK to pursue an MA in Human Rights, because... why not? and in the middle of this career shift situation, I have no idea wth I'm doing.

I'm vegan. I love animals and I still can't decide if I'm a cat or a dog person.

I play the piano and the guitar, and when I say play I mean I only know a few pieces that I play over and over again.
My favourite film is Amelie, although I speak no French whatsoever.
My favourite author is Jeanette Winterson. My favourite book is her Why Be Happy When You Could Be Normal.
