i’m almost 23 and nothing is calling my name more than exploring cities, meeting new people, hearing amazing stories, and creating amazing stories to share with the people i get the pleasure of crossing paths with in this lifetime.

at my best, i am extremely tidy and well organized. i do have moments where i get distracted or don’t take my time like i should but i am actively working on that. as much as i do like to be in charge of things and call the shots i would describe myself as laid back and go with the flow. i usually go with my gut and i speak up when i need to but i find that life is far more enjoyable if you don’t let the little things get to you and go into all situations with an open mind.

i don’t have a lot of money but i’m making the most of what i have and trusting that the universe will provide me with my needs as long as i follow my heart and put good things out there.

i can talk to anyone about anything and my goal is to collect enough experiences and cross enough things off of my bucket list that i actually look forward to waking up each day and live my life based on what i want, not what others expect of me. i plan on traveling as much as physically possible and hopefully within the next couple of years, i will find a place i want to call home and i will begin my next chapter. whatever that may be.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

i met this really cool dude a while ago and he mentioned it to me. he was telling me about how he kind of just hops around to wherever he feels like it all the time and i listened to every word he said because he was living my dream life.

i’ve been waiting 22 years to feel the spark i felt after i met that guy. i haven’t been able to stop thinking about how easy couchsurfing would make it to do the things i want to do and so now here i am.

Interests

anything related to art or self expression always catches my attention. i love seeing how other’s minds work. music, sculptures, paintings, drawings, film, collages. people in general are also incredibly fascinating. how and why you became who you are, where you’ve been, what you’ve seen, heard, done, felt. i want to know everything.

Music, Movies, and Books

i’m kind of a snob when it comes to music, movies, and television just because i have adhd so it’s hard to catch my attention, but i do enjoy a little bit of everything.

i pride myself in my spotify account so if that’s something you’re interested in i’d love to share it with you.

edm is kind of my guilty pleasure but not because i’m ashamed of it, because a lot of people have no tolerance for it lol.

i’ve been obsessed with all things comedy my entire life. i grew up idolizing tina fey, amy poehler, and kristen wiig so that should tell you a lot.

improv, sketch comedy, and standup all have a special place in my heart and it would be a dream to have a career in that field one day.

i also spend most of my streaming time on documentaries, or reality tv shows.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

last summer, my brother, cousin, and i drove from Seattle to San Diego in a week. we spent a day in all of the major cities down the coast and i got to see the ocean for the first time. traveling was always something i was so jealous of people for growing up and having the ability to do it as an adult is one of the most amazing feelings i’ve ever had.

i also met adam sandler once. that was cool.

i’m currently studying the ancient enneagram (a personality typing system based on psychology and spirituality). i’d love to help you begin to understand your type and show you some of my favorite resources if you’re interested. or, if you’re already familiar with the enneagram please share all of your knowledge with me. i could talk about it forever.

i’m only 22 so i’m trying to learn as much as possible right now. school was never my thing and i’ve chosen to learn things from people and my own personal experiences right now. i’d love to listen to your favorite travel stories and even advice if you’re willing to give it.

spirituality and consciousness is also somewhat important to me. although, i’m no expert. i have a lot of pretty cool personal experiences i’d love to share with anyone open enough to hear them.
