Hello! My name is Hae-Yang Chang and I am a woefully under-traveled (working on it!) but enthusiastic student who's on a mission to get as far away as possible from my comfort zone!

I am currently a third year student at the University of Florida, studying Digital Arts and Sciences!

I currently work for Mosaic, an experiential marketing firm, as a brand ambassador and videographer for their Dell computers clientele.

I am a staunch minimalist!

I am an open-minded individual who is down to try just about anything! Novel experiences are what makes me most excited.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The most enriching experiences I've had while traveling involve interacting with the natives. I'm not particularly interested in the touristy side of a place; I want to see how the people actually live! I want to hear the stories of anyone anywhere.

Interests

I taught myself dancing at the age of thirteen. Since then, I have performed and competed in many shows as a solo performer and as part of a group. Most recently, my crew, Apocalypse, performed at World of Dance, America's most prestigious urban dance competition!

I am a classically trained pianist of eleven years I have recently picked up electronic music composition, stemming from my love for digitally created music. The potential to create soundscapes from never-before heard before sounds is extremely exciting.
