About Me
Hi! Nice to meet you in this Couchsurfing community:)
✔️ I'm an undergraduate student(senior) majoring in visual communication design. I'll be having my graduation show this year, but now, I'm figuring out myself while learning things I love, and networking with new people!!
✔️ I'm going to take a 2-month trip to Europe(Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, France) this spring. It is my first trip to Europe, so I'm looking forward to my trip so much. I've also been learning German and French recently so that I can talk with local people in their native languages. Trip is always an excellent motivation for language learning:)
✔️ Some fun facts about me:
I've kept my hair short for over 5 years(sometimes I'm misunderstood as a boy, but still I love my style) / My nickname is 'Dosi', which means 'City' in Korean / I first volunteered for an independent film festival 6 years ago, and I still miss that summer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
🏄 I'm on Couchsurfing because I believe that couchsurfing would be a good chance to meet and communicate with people. Some of my friends told me they'd experienced such heart-warming hospitality in the Couchsurfing community. I was overwhelmed by their stories and ended up signing up for this platform:) Hope to meet lovely friends all over the world!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
🌎 I've done a 4-month internship as a designer in Washington D.C. It was my first time living abroad, so everything was intriguing and inspiring to me. I lived with roommates from all over the world and worked with colleagues with diverse cultural backgrounds.
Listening to their stories and learning from them, I was able to broaden my horizons not only with my career but also with my identity. During my internship, I also started a personal videography project to interview local people in D.C. area.
Life in D.C. made me a bit more open-minded, flexible, and proactive person. I started to dream of exploring as many countries as possible, and hopefully driving my career internationally. I'll do my best to make opportunities for myself:)

✔️ I can teach you some basic Korean words and phrases, and I'd love to learn some phrases in your mother language if that doesn't bother you:)
