Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy couchsurfing when traveling because it is by far the best way to meet interesting people.

The hostel scene is ok if i have to do it, but i like this much better, I think most people on here would agree. (alot of other people just dont get it and think its nuts to stay at strangers houses!)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a few people, Calgary is not a huge couchsurfing destination but there seems to be at least 1 couchsurfer every month, which is great.

I try and take them around and meet up with some of my friends.

Interests

I like going out, meeting people, photobombing other tourists, etc. the usual stuff, and seeing those UNESCO heritage sites, just to say I did. and I love silly things such as pub crawls, and booze cruises

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well I was stuck in Paris for a week during the volcanic ash eruption of 2010, they told us it would be MONTHS before we could get a flight back home, looking back on it, that made no sense.
