I'm Haichuan, currently working in a venture capital (basically what I do is investing and helping early stage startups to grow their business). I'm also a tech guy, used to work in a big internet company as product designer (so called product manager).

I've become a couchsurfer for more than 5 years, have hosted many traveler and also surfed a lot. As a traveler I have traveled to around 40 countries, and never plan to stop this journey. In daily life, I have a cat but also a dog-lover. I like drone, diving, stand-up comedy, and some basketball.

I used to study in University of Luxembourg as exchange student, and I get bachelor degree from Renmin University of China.

Open-minded, easy-going, logical, sometimes a little bit crazy, having lots of friends, that's how people describe me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I met two globe trotters at a cold night in September 2013 in the train station of Luxembourg. They told me that they were couchsurfers, but the person who was supposed to host them in Luxembourg didn't appear. So I decided to provide a free room for them at that night. That is my first couchsurfing experience, which is unforgettable to me, and encourages me to be a real couchsurfer.
