Recently moved back to the Big O from living the expat dream in Vietnam (beer is 20 cents there). I cover local government and economic development at the newspaper owned by Warren Buffett, aka biG $ pApi. But I am poor. Regardless, Omaha is an affordable Midwestern yuppie haven, and I live in a dope, historic apartment in the thriving Blackstone District. There are approximately 17,000 yuppie, as well as dive, bars, coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance of my brick palace.

I enjoy new places, hearing people's tales of grandeur, goats that knock each other over in YouTube videos, good music and good beer. I'm also a fan of writing and reading others' writing.
