音乐、电影和书籍

Music: I love music of all genres! Although, 70's rock music is my favorite. A few bands I'm always listening to are; Queen, The 1975, and Greta Van Fleet. (Contrary to their name The 1975 does not play music in the style of the 1970's)

My top three books: 1984, The Grapes of Wrath, and Slaughter-House Five. I love dystopian, satirical and classic novels: Bonus if it's a satirical, dystopian classic novel! Here's looking at you Vonnegut.

Movies: You don't have to be a kid to enjoy movie's for children. Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and the Wizard of Oz are my favorites. Also, if you think about it, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory does an excellent job at satirizing a rampant consumer culture.

Mrs. Curtis: What do they want? Whatever it is, they can have it!
Detective: They want your case of Wonka bars.
Mrs. Curtis: *doesn't answer*
Detective: Mrs. Curtis, do you hear me? It's your husband's life or a case of Wonka Bars!
Mrs. Curtis: How long will they give me to think it over?

Also, since I've put filmmaking as one of my interests, I should probably mention a classic film. Mon Oncle is a classic film... I also quite like it.

Ran into black bear on a walk
Had a tree nearly fall on me... Twice
Fell down the stairs at fancy theater
Had a T.V. fall on me
Manage to wake-up with a pillow stuck to my head due to a Silly Putty accident
And much, much more.
