I am an English teacher like many expats in Korea. I rain from the beautiful country that is Canada. I majored in History at a small university in New Brunswick and loved every minute of it. Apparently my catch phrase is 'ohh man' as mini disasters follows me everywhere that normal people avoid. I take it all with a smile. I am an extremely happy person. Promise.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I am here so that I can experience Korea and make friends along the way.

I have met a lot of people couch surfing for my friends but I have never hosted anyone before. Now that I live in Korea I have the ability to show someone what my little piece of Korea has to offer. Ulsan doesn't have much but we have some great event that come around each year that I would love to share with a fellow traveler.

Intereses

I have always loved biking and going for walks in the bush (aka the forest) but Korea has brought out a new love for hiking that I didn't appreciate when I lived in Canada.

I love reading and usually have 3-4 books on the go at any given time. Swimming is my first love (boo Korea with the lack of lakes) only matched by my love for dogs and other furry friends. Seriously. Animals. Are. The. Best.

Música, películas y libros

I couldn't tell you how many times I've read Watership Down or the Harry potter series. I can tell you that Neil Gaiman is quickly becoming my favourite author and that Terry Pratchett is a genius; both their adult and children books are spectacular.

I personally think Kevin Costner is wonderful and that includes movies like Water World and the Postman but I think we all know Field of Dreams is where it is at.
