Hi all! It is great to meet you here. I am Hailey and I am currently studing in Shanghai for a Master's degree. I major in International economic law. Later, I am going to study at Central European University in Budapest and I was told that Budapest is a beautiful city! Hope to explore that city soon. I have a variety of hobbiles, my favorite sport is swimming, which reallly makes me relaxed when I am depressed. I also love reading and I read novels and books of Politics. Music plays an important role in my life, my favorite rapper is Eminem, and his song "lose yourself" is so inspiring and encourages me a lot in my life. I am also interested in Rock Music, and Coldplay is my favorite band! One of my dream in my life is to attend their concert! I love to communicate with people, to listen to their stories since every one is so unique and sharing with others will be a great moment! Why I’m on Couchsurfing

What I always want to do is to explore in a bigger world. I am a curious person and also brave.During my studies, I tried a lot interesting things. I had experience going camping on the beach and observe the stars, the stunning view always remains in my mind.Once a time I travel to Macao China alone, and I lived in a youth hostel which locates near Hesha Beach and that night I walked along the beach feeling the light wind, cool seawater and bright moon. That is a short trip but I will remember those quiet moments forever. I want to join Couchsurfing because I want to know more interesting people, to share our stories with each other, no matter it is your life, your dream, embarrasing moment and unforgettable experience etc. I hope to know more stories and become a human being better.

Music, Movies, and Books

Lose yourself is my favorite song which encourage me a lot during my studies, it says "you can do anything you set your mind to" which teaches me to always believe myself and concentrate what I am doing to make my dream come true. And in 2019 I make my dream of studying abroad come true and this song helps me a lot.
There is a French movie called "intouchables" which talks a story about a black, unemployed young man got a job to take care a wealthy but disable man. At first there are conflict between their communications but in the end they become life-time friends. This movie shows me that RESPECT MATTERS when we are getting along with others.
My favorite book is "Letter to students who are going to study at Universities" written by C.F Sivens (Not sure whether it is corret spelling).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am brave and when I was studing at university, I will directly express my appreciation to a boy though I don't even know him before. Once I send him a book as a present. Well I think such experiences are great because I am able to express my appreciation directly and make more friends :)

Teach, Learn, Share

If the host want to taste Chinese food or Cantonese food (Noodle, dumplings etc.), I can help.
If the host is interested in China mainland or Hongkong, like its cultures, weather, food, festivel, I can also help. By the way I can speak Mandrin and Cantonese, and If the host has a plan to travel to China mainland, Hongkong or Macau, I can teach the host about Mandarin and Cantonese for daily communication.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would like to share my views or experince interesting with the host. Like I travel alone in Hongkong and Macau, I also join the language Mix Group to practice my English in Shanghai and communicate with people from different backgrounds. And the experience of expressing my feeling to a boy or kissing a smart boy during studies etc.
