Overview
About Me
Born and grew up on Hainan island from 1989 to 2008, then spent 5 years' in Beijing, later end up being an mandarin immersion teacher in American elementary school from Michigan to California both public and private. I am curious about the world and always want to learn different cultures and get to know people from different countries.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m very new to Couchsurfing although I have stayed at people’s homes in the past, and it always turns out into a great experience. This summer I was able to use Couchsurfing either to stay or meet up with people. I am so glad that I used CS. It opens a new door to me and personally I feel much more open to talk to strangers. Later, we actually become friends. Right now, I share a place with my landlord and it is hard to host gusts. But, in the future, my husband and I definitely would like to host guests. For me, travelling is not only get to eat local food and see the scenery, but also get to know local people and interact with them.
