I am a worldwide traveller. My name is Hakan from Istanbul, Turkey. I am 54 years old. I worked in airline industry for 26 years. I traveled to 23 countries in 5 continents so far. I stopped working this year in order to discover more attractive places in the world. I am a friendly, sincere, respectful, energic and lively person. I speak English. Music, Movies, and Books

I like to listen to the music of 70’s and 80’s pop music. Abba, Boney M, Michael Jackson, Modern Talking, Madonna, Paul Simon, Dana Winner are my fovorite singers. I also listen songs of latin countries. I listen Vicente Fernandez, Vaya Con Dips, Natalia Jimenez. I like to watch movies and read books which are especially about fantasy, history and adventure. I also like to watch youtubers’s travel adventures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have done so far was the decision of traveling to South America which is almost 14.000 kilometers from my country. This decision was taken just after I had my breakfast in 2016 when I was in New York in the USA.

Teach, Learn, Share

Sharing is very important aspects for me. I have never made couchsurfing so far. But when I watch travellers’ stories in youtube I have enough resouces to teach, learn and share which are my experiences in life such as my professional life, the culture I have in Turkey which are combination of Europe and otantic Anatolia. I also like to share the cultures and people of the countries I traveled with their geography, history and humanity.
