Hi! This is Hakan. I am a graduate student in Koç University, and an alumni of Bogazici University. I do climbing, mountaineering, cycling, skiing and so on. I love to share different cultures and experiences. As a result of these hobbies, I travel a lot. (Well, I enjoy being on the road itself definitely.)

I was born in Kahramanmaras and lived there until 15. Then I lived in Ankara for 4 years when I was in high school. I live in Istanbul since 2019. (Except the 6 months exchange in the US.)

This is a hard one for me as it was always hard for me to pick the favorites but if I wanted to list some, I recently like to listen to electronic music and techno, lots of beats, as well as 80s American Pop and Alternatives. In general, I like Anatolian Rock, especially Erkin Koray, and 2000s Turkish Pop (I'm assertive on this)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

* I walked half of the Lycian Way.
* I climbed over 25+ peaks in Aladaglar
* I skied in Kayseri, Kars and Bansko.
* Once I ice-climbed in Erzurum.
* I slept in a truck for a night on a hitchike.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could offer you tons of Math but it's hard to find anyone interested on this haha. I play very terrible but I know some chords, I could teach you some guitar. (Like you would go from 'no clue' to 'played once'.)
