To meet new people! I have a firm belief that unless one actually meets locals of the country you are travelling in, then you haven't really visited that country, as the locals are part of the journey and the flavor of the country! If you don't want to meet locals of the places you are visiting, then you might as well just look at the tourist spots online and save money.

兴趣

History (Military, Roman, and Napoleonic history), politics (domestic and international), geography (maps are awesome), music (I will listen to almost anything), Muay Thai boxing, and I'm basically open to trying anything new at least once.

For TV and movies, too many to count really. Recent movies I've seen was Hot Fuzz. Recent TV show is The West Wing.

For music, I'm a big metal fan, but I'm not one of those fans who only likes one genre, and Ill give pretty much anything a listen. Classical, modern hits, life is too short to listen to just one genre.

And finally books, I'll read basically anything, right now I am reading Meditations by Marcus Aurelius. Really a big fan of reading!
