I'm a college student from Kansas, studying in Madrid this semester. I grew up in Kansas and go to school there, but I spend my summers in Denver, Colorado, because I plan to move there after I graduate. I prefer Colorado because of its progressive culture and beautiful mountains. I have a huge passion for music, and I spend most of my time going to concerts and raves. Aside from concerts, I love to hike and spend time outdoors. I'm a pretty down to earth, welcoming individual and I love people who give off the same energy.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I'm on Couchsurfing because I think it is the perfect way to meet locals and gain more authentic experiences, while saving money at the same time! Easily the highlight of every trip I've taken this semester has been the people that I meet, and I don't think there's any better people to get to know than those who experience that culture every day. I love hearing people talk about what they're passionate about and learning new things from them. I'm not one to prefer the basic tourist attractions/experiences. I want to know where the best restaurants, bars, clubs, etc. are that you can't easily find on Google.

Also I'm nearly broke and my family doesn't support me financially LOL

I enjoy all times of music, but my favorite genres are EDM, alternative pop/rock, and R&B.

I don't watch much tv or movies, but I do love a good rom-com or coming-of-age film. I watch stand-up comedy more than anything
