I am a firm believer that you can earn back money, and that time however is irreplaceable. With that being said, I will take any opportunity to see the world or learn something new. I love being outdoors doing absolutely anything and photography. There is only one year left in my bachelor degree and then I hope to pursue a masters in marine contaminants. The end goal is to do research to create positive environmental change :) Along the way I hope to travel and gain new perspectives by encountering new people and places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I tried it with a friend recently and fell in love with the concept. The idea of travelers helping travelers or locals wanting to help tourists and expecting nothing in return aside from genuine conversations is amazing. With hosteling or airbnbs you often feel like clients but with this being voluntary it completely changes that dynamic to something more casual and friendly. I have heard many good things about this organization and feel that it is my turn to check it out.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't necessarily have a favourite book or genre but just love learning something new about the world, society or how to solve environmental issues. My favourite TV show will forever be Friends. As for music I listen to a variety of genres but the most frequent would be indie-folk-pop. Taylor Swift is my favourite artist along with Ed Sheeran. I have played the guitar for close to 10 years now and know lots of their songs.
