I am a copyeditor and aspiring author who moved to LA to pursue a career in marketing and advertising. My interests include traveling, reading, hiking and backpacking, spending time with friends, and learning about new cultures. I'm also hugely into Dungeons and Dragons, Marvel films, and Lord of the Rings.

Interests

My passions cover a pretty wide spectrum ranging anywhere from politics to fashion, and I love books! Art is also a huge part of my life, I love drawing and painting, too.
Stargazing is a lot of fun, too- I really enjoy astronomy!
My favorite book series is Harry Potter, and I enjoy Star Trek, Jane Austen books, action movies, and cold rainy days when I'm not expected to do anything and I can read and meditate.
I'm also a huge fan of Disney films, CSI TV shows, Supernatural, and Korean dramas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Europe with some classmates from high school for ten days, and it was the most amazing thing- though it sounds cliche, I saw the Eiffel Tower, ate at an English pub, drank beer in Switzerland, shopped for leather in Florence, and saw ancient ruins in Rome.
I even got to use my Japanese when I visited a Swiss woodworks shop- I spoke to the Japanese tour guide in my very limited Japanese until we decided to switch to English because it was easier. We talked for ten minutes before I realized that all of my classmates had already gotten on the bus and were about to leave!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm good at baking sweets- like cookies and cakes and things. I can teach someone how to paint and draw, as well even when they think they'll never be able to do it!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories about my travels, I make a mean American grease breakfast (biscuits, bacon, eggs- Southern style), I can bake sweets, and look after their pets.
